HOW TO ACHEIVE ANYTHING ! (Part 1)


Some day's I wake up feeling, like I just cant get out of my bed, maybe you feel that way about a project, an idea, something you've been wanting to get done but you cant seem to get it done. Well you're not the only one who suffers a little/lot of procrastination. And you've read countless blogs and articles in search of a cure for this mysterious ailment that wont let you progress to the life you dream about(all day long). Well on our very similar search for a cure for the ultimate answer I came upon several obstacles(issues) that appear in our way. On the contrary we should be able to identify them and overpower them to the best possible advantage.

 “A danger known in advance can be avoided to great extent.”
These obstacles also disturb our routine life. They can be classified into(2) categories:



  • NOT SO DIFFICULT: obstacles that can be removed with some effort”.
  • DIFFICULT : These require strenuous efforts to remove them.

Lets discuss the “NOT SO DIFFICULT” obstacles according to the YOGA DARSHAN :

  1. Sickness : All kinds of sickness hamper our routine life. In such situations, your first priority should be to cure the physical ailments and restore health.
  2. Dullness : Just to keep “Thinking” and not be able to to accomplish tasks is a sign of mental weakness. This kind of inability creates obstruction in other areas of life too.
  3. Doubt : To suffer feelings of uncertainty and to do things half hartedly never yields the desired results. Only through self confidence and faith can one achieve their goals.
  4. Carelessness : To be careless towards what we do and how we do it is another path to not achieving our goals. Be careful and try to follow instructions. Carelessness can cost a lot even in the other spheres of life.
  5. Laziness : Heaviness in the mind and lethargy in the body causes laziness which obstructs Goals. This is one of the most common human weakness.
  6. Desirous of Sensuous Pleasures : Cravings are never fulfilled and all efforts to fulfill them are just an illusion and considerably decline the rate of progress towards our goal.
  7. Delusion : It means superficial or absence of true knowledge akin to the proverb “Not All That Glitters Is Gold”.
  8. Instability : The lack of perseverance in the pursuit of ones goal. It's almost impossible to succeed in life without continuity in efforts.
